23. Wreck leaves two injured The tractor-trailer traveled another 76 feet before coming to a stop. Highway 421 when he rounded a curve and the trailer crossed the center line and hit the front of a 2005 Jeep Liberty. The collision resulted in the Jeep being spun counterclockwise, coming to rest near the point of impact. 26. Fatality Crash A John Deere tractor towing a large piece of equipment was traveling southbound and because of its size took up part of the northbound lane. Several cars avoided a collision, but the driver of a Ford Escort smashed into the equipment, and died instantly. The name of the victim hasn't been released at this time.
