Leura Gardens Festival open 9 gardens to the public in spring to raise funds for Katoomba Hospital. Situated in the Blue Mountains, 100 Kilometers west of Sydney, the gardens of Leura are famous for their magnificent displays of Azaleas, Rhododendrons and Camellias as well as flowering shrubs and annuals which combine to give a blaze of Springtime colour and beauty, attracting visitors from all parts of Australia and overseas.

The Hobart Horticultural Society encourages gardeners to grow flowers and produce of all kinds and exhibit at local shows. The purpose of exhibiting plants is to promote cooperation and friendly competition leading to improvement in the quality and range of our local product. The Society holds 4 flower shows each year - 2 in Spring and 2 in Autumn.
