The African Violet Society of Calgary (A.V.S.C) is a registered non-profit organization whose mandate is to share information and knowledge concerning the culture, showing, propagation, grooming and purchasing of Saintpaulias (African Violets) and related plants in the Gesneriad family. The A.V.S.C. is affiliated with the African Violet Society of America. The A.V.S.C. meets monthly to discuss the growing and showing of African Violets.
