Bavarian State Ministry for Health, Food and Consumer Protection - Bayerisches Staatsministerium fur Gesundheit, Ernahrung und Verbraucherschutz (StMGEV). The Ministry is responsible for the sustainable protection of man and the essential prerequisites for human life: in other words for the protection of nature and landscapes, soil, water, air and climate, public health and food safety, consumer protection and work safety, animal health and the protection of wildlife, as well as protection against radiation and reactor safety.
