Consolidated Fisheries Limited (CFL) is one of the major fishing companies in the Falklands, contributing strongly to the Islands economy and has established itself as the only company in the Falklands owning and operating its own vessels from the Falklands capital, Stanley. Amaltal holds quota predominantly for deep water species caught in the crystal pure subantarctic waters of New Zealand's 200 mile Exclusive Economic Zone. The major species fished are: Hoki, Orange Roughy, Oreo Dory, Squid, Ling, Hake and Southern Blue Whiting. Amaltal's quality "frozen at sea" fish are available in more than 200 product lines, with a wide variety of species, range and grades.

Argenova S.A. is a fishing company, that belongs to the Spanish group Pescanova, one of the main worldwide group dedicated to the food industry. Argenova S.A. operates three processing and freezing plants in the cities of Comodoro Rivadavia, Rawson and Puerto Deseado, where it is also placed the fleet's operational base and a cold storage for 4000 TN, a net factory, a hook factory and naval workshop. Products: Kingclip, Grenadier, Hoki, Cod Ling, Southern Blue Whiting, Whiting, Sea Bass, Antarctic Queen, Shrimp Prawn, Yellow Croaker, Rock Fish, Shortfin Squid.

The Austfish Group activities: 1. Austfish Pty Ltd - Prawn Trawling Operations. Austfish Pty Ltd owns and operates ten modern prawn trawlers fishing in the Northern Prawn Fisheries(NPF) of Australia. All product is frozen immediately at the time of catching to ensure maximum freshness. Catch: Banana Prawn, Tiger Prawn, Red Leg Banana, King Prawn, Endeavour Prawn. 2. Austfish International Pty Ltd - Seafood Marketing. It sources and markets a wide range of frozen seafood products from countries outside Australia, including the following: Fish Fillets (Barramundi, Emperor, Freshwater, Leatherjacket, Nile Perch, Pearl Perch, Shark, Snapper), Squid, Cuttlefish, Octopus, Lobster - Slipper/Spiny, Shrimp - PUD/PTO/HLSO/HOSO, Scallops - Roe on/off, Scampi F/W.

Beta Fish - Trawler Owners, Fish Export, Agency. Owns eight trawlers wich operates exclusively in the Faroese waters. Products: Cod, Whiting, Ling, Red Fish, Haddock, Saithe, Monk fish, Catfish, Plaice, Lemon Sole.

Supplier of Premium Chilled and Frozen Nature'S Harvest Seafood Products. Anton's offers a wide range of product from whole fish to fully processed skinless, boneless fillets in either chilled or frozen form. Anton's operates three fresh trawlers in waters around New Zealand and a freezer trawler in various international water fisheries. The company also contracts independent fishermen to harvest it's quota's. At its Auckland base Anton's operate a modern purpose built 35,000 sq ft processing plant alongside it's 1000 tonne cold storage facility.
