Johnstone Credit Union is a non profit making organisation with over 2000 members and funds totalling over £1,000,000. Offers loans and membership to residents of Johnstone in Renfrewshire, Scotland.

Our aim is to provide a useful financial service to our members. So far over 1000 local people now save regularly with our Credit Union. We have granted hundreds of loans at a very low rate of interest - (12.68%APR) over the past ten years of service to our local community. The income generated from these loans is given back to savers by way of an annual dividend, which means that money generated in Burnley is spent largely in Burnley and does not disappear from our local economy.

Financial Inclusion Services Yorkshire (FISY) is a partnership of three organisations: FISY, Sheffield Credit Union, Moneyline Yorkshire. Sheffield Credit Union was formed in October 2004 as the result of a merger of three smaller credit unions. It currently has over 1000 members and the number is growing all the time. Credit Unions are financial co-operatives. They offer savings and great value loans plus they are local, ethical and know what their members want.
