For over 80 years TAGRA has offered the finest of registered Texas Angora breeding stock at our annual show and sale. Our Association is dedicated to promoting both mohair and the continued improvement of the Angora breed.

The purpose of this Association shall be to promote meat goats as a viable source of long-term, stable income in agricultural operations; to establish group breeding plans for the improvement of meat goats; and to enhance consumer demand at the retail level.

The HMPGA was created in November of 2000 by a small group of breeders and others interested in the future of the Meat Goat in the upper Midwest. It was the concensus of this group that an association should be formed to represent meat goat producers as a unified entity.

The IFGA was founded in the fall of 1989 by a group of people who appreciated the Fainting Goat as a breed and wished to see them preserved. This task is being accomplished through registration, pedigree documentation, and educating the public about the uniqueness of the breed.

Virginia Angora Goat and Mohair Association (VAGMA), is an educational organization run by and for the benefit of Angora Goat producers and mohair users. We publish an informative newsletter for members four times a year.

BGBAA is the sole register for Boer Goats in Australia and services over 770 members. Being a relatively new breed in Australia the Association strives to increase the awareness of the breed with graziers and also to publicise the benefits of goat meat production in general in Australia.

The International Boer Goat Association, Inc. is committed to seeing the meat goat industry in general, and the Boer goat breed in particular, established as a respected and profitable component of mainstream North American agriculture.

The Scottish Cashmere Goat has been developed by scientists at the Macaulay Land Use Research Institute and the Roslin Institute (Edinburgh) from the world's most widely based fibre goat genepool.
