ANABORAPI is the National Association of Piemontese Cattle Breeders and has its head office at Carru, in the region Piemonte, Italy. The Association was founded in 1960 with the aim to develop the breed and its genetic improvement.

The American Pinzgauer Association has a breeding-up program which allows a producer to breed up to Purebred Pinzgauer (7/8 for females, 15/16 for bulls) by starting with commercial cows and using Pinzgauer bulls. At the end of 1989, there were over 30,000 Fullblood and Purebred Pinzgauers in the United States.

The Pinzgauer cattle, the only cattle breed indigenous (autochthonous) to Austria that is known all over the world, will have to be given added attention as a "national-park breed" and organic cattle. At present, Pinzgauer cattle can be found in 25 countries around the world. In South Africa, Canada, the US, and Australia, Pinzgauer cattle thrive even under the harshest environmental conditions.

The North American Romagnola & RomAngus Association has been incorporated to be the registry of Romagnola Cattle and the registry of RomAngus Cattle, and to actively pursue breed improvement by means Common to the North American Beef Industry.
