The Shorthorn Society of Australia is the largest member of the Shorthorn Family in Australia. It has over 550 members and has 11,000 active-registered females on its cow inventory. Hedquartered in Armidale in the New England Region of New South Wales.

The Society exists to promote Jersey cattle breeding in the UK. We currently have a membership of almost 1000 and the Jersey is the second most popular dairy breed in the UK. The Society also supports 16 local area clubs. We publish several newsletters and one Journal each year.

Located in Walton, Kansas, since 1984. Walton is the home of the Ivan Knudsen family, avid Marchigiana breeders and supporters, without whom the association may not have survived through the eighty's. Ivan's daughter, Martie, has been the Executive Secretary of the Association since 1984.

The American Shorthorn Association is the official organization for the registration of purebred Shorthorn cattle in the USA. Various activities, promotion and junior events are conducted by the association.
