Our purpose is to promote the prevention of equine abuse and mistreatment. We believe in humane treatment of and survival as an alternative to slaughter or public auction for abandoned, neglected and unwanted horses. It is our purpose to provide shelter, food, daily care, medical attention, rehabilitation and adoptions for horses that in need of refuge.

Wild Horse Spirit is a hands-on, private, non-profit, Wild Horse Rescue, Advocacy Organization, & Sanctuary. Wild Horses in Need is dedicated to helping the horses of Santa Barbara, California. Providing sanctuary to older mustangs that would otherwise be destroyed and education on the special training needs of the wild horse.

Most horses sold for slaughter in the United States are not used for dog food as many people believe. Horse meat is used for human consumption overseas.

Wildhorse Ranch Rescue is a safe place for abused, neglected, unwanted and/or retired horses. Wildhorse Ranch Rescue saves horses from death. There are many reasons a horse may need to be rescued. We offer these horses a second chance at life and an opportunity to be adopted by a good home.

New York Horse Rescue Corporation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit horse charity. We primarily rehabilitate and retrain Thoroughbred racehorses. Our goal is to find new homes and careers for these unwanted horses. New York Horse Rescue is comprised of people who are active in the horse world and are animal lovers.

The Pacific Wild Horse Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation registered with the State of Oregon, Department of Justice, Charitable Services Section. The Club was founded by a group of Wild Horse enthusiasts in 1981. The Club currently consists of approximately 70 families and individual members.

ReRun gives ex-racehorses a second chance at a productive life by first evaluating temperaments, talents and physical capabilities and then matching the animals to new owners. We assist in the re-training and recuperation process with the help of volunteers and paid personnel skilled in horsemanship. Based out of Kentucky with chapters in VA, NJ, NY, IL, MD, and WA.
