  Horsefriends Large Animal Rescue
At Horsefriends, we work to rescue and rehabilitate large animals, including horses, donkeys and mules. We focus our efforts on animals that are suffering from neglect, abuse or malnutrition. In addition, we care for both the physical and emotional needs of the animals in the hope that they can be placed in new homes.

  Humane Society of Missouri
Our Longmeadow Rescue Ranch in Union, Missouri opened in 1988. The rehabilitation center is situated on 165 acres of donated land nestled in a valley surrounded by trees. Here, abused and neglected horses, cows, goats and other farm animals are rehabilitated and placed up for adoption. The Longmeadow Rescue Ranch is also the site of our annual Fall Festival.

  Jack Auchterlonie Memorial Equine Sanctuary (JAMES)
A non-profit organization located in Twentynine Palms, CA, offering rescue, charitable refuge and rehabilitation for abandoned, abused, neglected, unwanted or retired equine. J.A.M.E.S. was founded with one purpose in mind - to rescue and provide a safe house for horses in need. We are not breed specific and will accept all equines, regardless of breed, age or condition.

At The Last Chance Corral, we work to alleviate the suffering and senseless slaughter of domestic equine and to provide an environment for rehabilitation and carefully selected adoptive homes that are appropriate for each horse's individual needs and abilities.   Lost and Found Horse Rescue
Dedicated to educating horse owners, legislating the humane treatment of horses and finding homes for all abused or neglected equines. The Lost & Found Horse Rescue Foundation (L&FHRF) has successfully placed more than 500 horses, averaging 100 per year since 1997. We handle several horse breeds along with ponies, donkeys and mules for possible adoption.

Miracle is a federally recognized 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and welfare of abused, neglected and unwanted equines of all types and conditions. We provide a safe environment for equines that have endured starvation, neglect and physical abuse. Each horse receives medical attention and daily positive human contact.

  Friends of Horses Rescue & Adoption
FOHRAA is a 501c3 nonprofit corporation dedicated to horse rescue, adoption and education based in metropolitan Denver, Colorado. We place many foals and horses in adoptive loving homes including PMU foals, retired thoroughbred racers, and a number of horses being auctioned for human consumption. In 2003, FOHRAA placed over 300 horses and foals in adoptive homes.
