Fableview Equine Rescue is a not-for-profit corporation founded in an effort to rescue and rehabilitate abused and neglected horses in the Greater Kansas City Area. We welcome your letters and our facility is always open to to the public. Please feel free to call and set up a visit. We are located in Centerview, MO, ten minutes west of Warrensburg.

The Island Farm Donkey Sanctuary is a registered charity, caring for abused and ill-treated animals. We rely totally upon public donations to enable us to do this valuable work. Adopting one of the donkeys is a popular way to support the ongoing care of the animals, and can make an unusual gift.

The brumby is Australia's wild horse, descended from domestic horses imported into Australia to be used in the settlement, exploration and development of this country. Estimates of brumby numbers in Australia are between 300,000 and 600,000.

Guelph Equine Area Rescue Stables (G.E.A.R.S) is an organisation catering for the rescue and rehabilitaion of any and all horses. Our main goals are to give horses that have been mistreated or slaughterbound a second chance at life. This could (and almost always does) include rescue, rehabilitation, treatment and love.

A non profit, non political, charitable organization. The Mitchell Centre for Equine Rescue and Education was established to save young, healthy, reusable horses from going to slaughter. We also educate the public on the inner works of the horse industry as a whole.

Set amongst the rolling Chiltern Hills The Home of Rest for Horses caters for the retirement needs of 125 horses, donkeys and ponies. The Home was originally established back in the 1880s to help the working London horses. Heaven Can Wait Equine Rescue is located in Ontario, Canada. This Equine Rescue was started by Claire Malcolm in 1997 to help save horses and ponies from slaughter, and take in any unwanted horse or pony and find them a new, loving home. HCW has placed 400+ equines into new families in the past 7 years.
