Al and Lynn Winston ride, train and breed Paso Finos for pleasure trail riding. All of their trail horses have a good ground covering corto and an extended 8+ mph largo, as well as a true flat-footed walk. Although the Winstons primarily breed pleasure gaited trail horses, they also have a few young horses that have been bred for the show ring.

Our goals as Paso Fino breeders and promoters is to: (1) deliver a desirable product both in the showring and as a pleasure mount and (2) promote the versatility of the paso fino horse. Criadero el Ocaso got involved with Paso Finos nearly two decades ago, starting out as a small ranch in the Santa Monica Mountains of California.
