P.B.J.C. founding director Cynthia Morrison, a two time International Women's Jousting Champion, possessed a need to share this magnificent medieval sport with her community. Her competitive experiences throughout her Jousting career presented the fact that a need exists to preserve the chivalrous ideals that "once was" part of the great Jousting tournaments from centuries past.

Membership in our association does not require the ownership of a horse or mule, just lots of enthusiasm for them and their versatility.
