Organization of farriers headquartered in Lexington, KY. The AFA monitors legislation and showing rules, and acts as an advocate of farriers in relations with veterinarians, breed and sport associations, and state and federal government agencies.

In the Spring of 1944, a group of interested breeders met in Iowa Falls, Iowa and laid plans for forming the American Cream Horse Association of America. Directors and officers were elected and negotiations to obtain a charter were begun. On July 11, 1944, the charter was granted by the State of Iowa.

ASHAG is a registered charter club of the ASHA. ASHAG has long been a cornerstone charter club renowned for the production of such shows as Pro-Am, which is Co-Sponsored by UPHA Chapter 17, as well as a popular circuit of outdoor one-day shows and a junior division that focuses on young exhibitors' needs and ambitions.

The American Saddlebred Association of Great Britain (ASAoGB) was formed in 1985 and was the first organisation for the breed in the whole of Europe. Maintains registry for pure breds (two divisions) and part breds (two divisions).

The Minnesota Saddlebred Horse Association is dedicated to promoting the American Saddlebred Horse within the State of Minnesota. Specifically, we encourage the breeding, ownership, training, showing, use and improvement of the breed to foster public recognition and esteem for the breed. We endeavor to promote public interest in the breed and awareness of its versatility.

The Przewalski Horse Association, TAKH, was created in 1990 to help bring an end to this paradoxical situation. Its aim is to recreate a Przewalski Horse population living in the wild. To this end, in 1993 and 1994 eleven individuals taken from zoos were installed in the departement of Lozere, in one of the wildest and most beautiful regions in France: the Causse Mejean, a limestone plateau traditionally used for sheep rearing. Today they make up the Le Villaret herd.
