• HorseHomeopathy: Emergency Horse Homeopathy Kit
Karen Cohen, D.C., CCH is a classically trained homeopath with 17 years of clinical experience treating humans and animals. The information in the kit and on the website is the result of extensive experience and research, including a detailed study of the writings of homeopathic veterinarians at the turn of the century, when most households depended daily on horses for work and transportation. The Horse Homeopathy Emergency Kit is designed to provide a safe and effective complementary approach to accidents, injuries and acute conditions commonly seen in horses. In addition, the kit includes Arnica 1M, the remedy shown to be most useful in alleviating rider injury, trauma and bruising after a fall.

The American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA) was formed in 1989 by a group of veterinarians and chiropractors interested in furthering the profession of animal chiropractic. Today, the AVCA has a three-fold mission: to function as a professional membership group, to promote animal chiropractic to professionals and the public, and to act as the certifying agency for doctors who have undergone animal chiropractic training. One of the major goals of the AVCA is to provide the public with unhampered access to ethical doctors trained in animal chiropractic.

• Anipulation - Animal Complementary Therapy
Why use Complementary Therapies? Remaining relatively fit and mobile is good for everyone including animals. Body tissues including bones, muscles, tendons and ligaments adapt to exercise and mechanical loading, becoming stronger and more flexible, making them less vulnerable to injury. Physical exercise and mobility improves circulation of blood and therefore enhances delivery of nutrients and oxygen to all areas of the body through muscular activity. Movement also helps retain muscle tone, stimulate tissue healing and regeneration, remove waste toxins more efficiently and maintain the functional integrity of all body parts. However, trauma injuries, unhealthy diets, over-exertion, fatigue and stress all conspire to reduce mobility, which over the course of time can lead to premature tissue degeneration, as the body no-longer functions as efficiently as it did. Hence the term - 'Use it or lose it!'
