• Pace Environmental Law Review
Established in 1982, the Pace Environmental Law Review (PELR) was one of the first scholarly journals established in the then new field of environmental law. Edited by J.D. candidates, PELR provides Pace students with a challenging opportunity to develop scholarly commentary and analysis of environmental law issues. This Law Review provides peer review of legal research alike by students, faculty or members of the bar and bench.

The Ecology Law Quarterly is one of the most respected and widely-read journals on environmental law and policy. ELQ provides fresh insight and analysis from leading authors on critical environmental affairs. Synthesizing legal and technical matters, ELQ's articles are cited frequently in court opinions, by legal institutions, and by attorneys.
• Hastings West-Northwest Journal of Environmental Law and Policy
Hastings West-Northwest Journal of Environmental Law and Policy is the first regional environmental law journal covering California and the Pacific Northwest. By concentrating on this manageable geographical area, West-Northwest provides in-depth analysis of regionally specific environmental law issues. In addition to traditional legal scholarship, West-Northwest publishes articles by policy analysts and researchers from such complementary fields as economics, anthropology, regional planning, engineering, and biological/earth sciences.
• New York University Environmental Law Journal
The NYU Environmental Law Journal (ELJ) is published three times per year. The NYU ELJ is received by over 330 libraries at law schools, law firms, governmental agencies, and courthouses throughout the world. The NYU Environmental Law Journal invites authors to submit articles that investigate timely issues of environmental law and policy on an international, national, or local level. We do accept topics that borrow from or intersect with other areas of law, and particularly encourage articles presenting creative approaches to environmental problems. ELJ welcomes a variety of formats, including articles, essays, book reviews, and case comments.
• Southeastern Environmental Law Journal
The Southeastern Environmental Law Journal (formerly the South Carolina Environmental Law Journal) is published semi-annually by a student editorial board at the University of South Carolina, School of Law and distributed to law schools, judges, attorneys, and environmental organizations across the nation. The goal of the Journal is to provide the legal community with a balanced presentation of environmental topics and an illustration of the pervasiveness of environmental law in all areas of practice. Interested parties are invited to submit relevant articles for publication.
• Environmental Law
Environmental Law is published quarterly by the students of Lewis & Clark Law School (Portland, OR) in the Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter (four issues each year on a quarterly calendar). Topics of discussion run the gamut from in-depth analyses of recent cases to more abstract discussions of the latest pollution prevention theories. We strive to provide the practitioner with practical, helpful articles, while continuing to lead the way in environmental thinking.
• Journal of Environmental Law (Oxford Journal)
Condensing essential information into just three issues a year, the Journal of Environmental Law has become an authoritative source of informed analysis for all those who have any dealings in this vital field of legal study. The Journal exists for both legal practitioners and academics, but also proves accessible for all other groups concerned with the environment, from scientists to planners.
• New Zealand Journal for Environmental Law
The New Zealand Journal of Environmental Law (NZJEL) was founded in 1997 with the assistance of the New Zealand Law Foundation and the Faculty of Law of the University of Auckland. The Journal is in the format of a University law review and is the only academic publication of its kind in New Zealand. It is intended to provide an outlet for longer analytical and comparative legal writing in the environmental and natural resources law area. In addition to articles, there are sections for case-notes, legislation notes, book reviews and a forum.
• The Villanova Environmental Law Journal
The Villanova Environmental Law Journal is published two times per year in the Winter and the Summer by the Villanova University School of Law at Villanova, Pennsylvania 19085. Authors interested in submitting manuscripts of articles for publication should contact the Villanova Environmental Law Journal at the earliest possible date. The ELJ accepts manuscripts year-round. There is no formal deadline for publication in a given issue, but decisions for the Winter issue are generally made by early August; and for the Spring issue by late December.
