The Environmental Health Foundation of Canada (EHFC) is a national, not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing environmental health in Canada and internationally through the development and implementation of education and research initiatives. We are a registered not-for-profit charitable organization. The EHFC was inaugurated in 1989 and received official recognition as a registered charitable organization under the Canadian Income Tax Act in 1991.

• International Society of Doctors for the Environment
ISDE is an environmental NGO of medical doctors. It is an independent, non-governmental non-profit organisation. It was created on 25 November 1990 and has now national and regional member organisations in over 35 countries. Physicians from these countries are invited to join their national organisations; physicians from other countries are invited to join as direct members. The Executive Office of ISDE is located in Switzerland. ISDE also has a scientific office, which coordinates research, information and training activities.
• Mesothelioma Center UK
Mesothelioma UK provides impartial up-to-date information for patients diagnosed with Mesothelioma and their carers. The Centre supports the development of specialist nursing practice and research which promotes the highest possible standards of care. A Nurse Consultant has been appointed to lead the development of Mesothelioma UK. There is a free phone helpline available which provides access to timely, accurate and relevant advice for patients, carers and health care professionals.

Established in 1987 the Association of Occupational and Environmental Clinics, a non-profit organization, is committed to improving the practice of occupational and environmental health through information sharing and collaborative research.
• Center for Children's Health and the Environment
The mission of the Center for Children's Health and the Environment (CCHE) of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine is to protect children against environmental threats to health. Our Center is leading the effort nationally to protect children against environmental toxins. Our research is examining the health hazards of pesticides, persistent organic pollutants, heavy metals and air pollutants. We are developing strategies to prevent learning disabilities, asthma, obesity and cancer.
