EnviroHealthAction.org - Children's Environmental Health Overview. EnviroHealthAction is an education and action center that provides an online community for health professionals and others interested in environmental health. It is designed to provide busy professionals with the opportunity to access important resources and deliver valuable input to policymakers. EnviroHealthAction is powered by Physicians for Social Responsibility.

Mothers for Clean Air is a non-profit, membership organization concerned with air pollution in the Houston-Galveston area and its effects on children's health. Mothers for Clean Air serves as a collective voice to keep state and local government, industry and consumers focused on obtaining and maintaining cleaner air for our children.

The Children's Environmental Health Institute (CEHI) has been established to identify, validate, and develop solutions to address adverse health effects to children occurring as a consequence of exposure to hazardous environmental substances. The mission of the Children's Environmental Health Institute is to support initiatives to improve children's environmental health with an emphasis on their micro environment.

Children's environmental heath is an important concern to the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH). Our programs are increasing focus and attention on children to ensure that they are protected from exposures to harmful chemicals and other environmental health hazards. We have several activities and programs with links to information about children's environmental health.

Healthy Schools Network is dedicated to assuring every child and school employee an environmentally safe and healthy school. HSN promotes the development of state and national policies, regulations, and funding for school facilities environments, and has won national recognition. HSN's coalition-building work has included the launching of a state-based network of organizations concerned with environmental health in schools, as well as the national Coalition for Healthier Schools.

OCE is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting the public from the harmful effects of air and water pollution. Through a combined strategy of enforcement, education and advocacy, we empower individuals, families and local communities to participate in decisions that impact air and water quality.

Protecting children's health from environmental risks is fundamental to EPA's mission.
