The International Society for Ecological Economists (ISEE) facilitates understanding between economists and ecologists and the integration of their thinking into a trans-discipline aimed at developing a sustainable world. The Society promotes understanding between ecologists and economists and integration of their disciplines through a journal, Ecological Economics, other publications, a biennial international conference, occasional smaller workshops, and support of the activities of regional societies of ecological economics.

  European Society for Ecological Economics
The European Society for Ecological Economics (ESEE) is the European branch of the International Society of Ecological Economics (ISEE). ESEE is a non-profit, member-governed, organisation dedicated to advancing understanding of the relationships among ecological, social and economic systems for the mutual well-being of nature and people. The Society publishes a newsletter and books (in association with various publishers); holds regional and international meetings; develops educational materials; and facilitates a voice for ecological economists in public forums.
