  River of Words
River of Words (ROW) is a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting kids to their watersheds through poetry and art. In affiliation with The Library of Congress they conduct an annual international K-12 poetry and art contest. ROW trains teachers how to incorporate nature exploration and the arts into their curricula, and exhibits and publishes children's work.

Water on the Web (WOW) helps college and high school students understand and solve real-world environmental problems using advanced technology. WOW is a complete package containing two sets of curricula, data from many lakes and rivers nationwide, extensive online primers, data interpretation and Geographic Information System Tools, and additional supporting materials. Basic Science consists of individual lessons for infusion into a wide range of exisiting science cources. Water Resource Science is a two-semester water resource management curriculum for second year technical students and undergraduates in water or environmental management disciplines.

  The Great Estate - Balgowlah Businesses Preventing Stormwater Pollution at Source
Manly Council has joined forces with the NSW Government Stormwater Trust and the University of Western Sydney (UWS) to develop a unique program linking environmental education, water quality monitoring, infrastructure provision and legislation to address concerns about ecosystem health in the catchment of Balgowlah Industrial Estate. The project is funded by the EPA as part of their $80 million effort to combat urban stormwater pollution in New South Wales. ‘The Great Estate' Stormwater Environmental Education Program (SEEP) is an environmental education program for companies in the Balgowlah Industrial Estate.

  University of Wisconsin Water Resources Institute
The Water Resources Institute coordinates research programs which are applicable to the solution of present and emerging water resource problems. In carrying out this mission, the Institute has developed a broadly based research, training, information transfer, and public service program involving personnel from many academic disciplines in the University of Wisconsin System. The Wisconsin Institute is one of 54 Water Resources Research Institutes nationwide authorized by the federal Water Resources Research Act.

The Water Resources Learning Center is a training organization dedicated to continuing education in the field of water resources. While we offer a variety of courses, our specialty is hydraulics, drainage design and stormwater issues. See Courses for a list of currently available courses. In-house course can also be customized to meet your organization's specific needs. Current courses are offered in a “live” instructor lead environment and are taught throughout the United States and abroad. In the coming months, the Water Resources Learning Center will begin implementing E*Learning techniques which will include web based offerings to complement our live courses.
