• Brown Hyena Research Project
The Brown Hyena Research Project is a non-profit organisation based in the port of Luderitz in the southern Namib Desert in Namibia. Our research on brown hyenas and the conservation of the ecologically unique brown hyena population along the coastal Namib Desert commenced in 1995 and developed since into a long-term conservation project.

The Center for Coastal Studies is an interdisciplinary marine research institute, CCS conducts basic and applied research, ecological monitoring, public education outreach, and graduate-level education and research programs. Research areas include: wetlands ecology, habitat restoration, creation, and enhancement; coastal habitat ecology and impacts; endangered species use of coastal habitats; benthic ecology; environmental physiology; coral reef ecology, environmental monitoring and impacts; oil spill impacts and habitat recovery; offshore artificial reef studies (including fisheries); and marine ecotoxicology.
• Centre for Ecology, Evolution and Conservation (CEEC)
The Centre for Ecology, Evolution and Conservation at UEA, Norwich, is one of the largest groups of ecologists and evolutionary biologists in Europe, with over 20 members of faculty and a community of around 70 research staff and PhD students. We offer: BSc degrees in Ecology; A one year Masters programme in Applied Ecology and Conservation; A one year Diploma in Conservation and Project Administration; A one year Diploma in ecology; Doctoral programmes in ecology, evolutionary biology and conservation.
• Coastal Ecosystems Research Foundation (CERF)
The Coastal Ecosystems Research Foundation is a non-profit organisation whose aim is to fund ecological research through eco-tourism. Research is presently focused on the whales and dolphins of British Columbia's Central Coast. The general public is invited to participate in weeklong research expeditions on our research vessel, to gain hands-on experience
