• The CRC for Australian Weed Management
Weeds CRC: Australian research into weed biology and ecology, risk assessment, biological control, herbicide resistance, crop & pasture management
• The University of Oklahoma Biological Station
The University of Oklahoma Biological Station (UOBS) was established in 1949 as a permanent research facility. This is the first research facility to be established on a man-made lake. The Stations primary objectives are to promote and support: education, research, and academic conferences. We are a separate budgetary unit and ay/Microbiology, Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History and the Biological Survey.
• University of Florida Center for Natural Resources
The School of Natural Resources & Environment supports the University of Floridas commitment to teaching, research, outreach and Extension programs in ecology, environment and environmental sciences. Faculties from eleven colleges and major academic units actively participate to educate students and provide research and outreach programs that advance solutions to ecological and environmental challenges at local, state, national and international levels.
• Walker Branch Watershed Research Program
Walker Branch Watershed is located on the U. S. Department of Energy's Oak Ridge Reservation near Oak Ridge, in Anderson County, Tennessee. The Walker Branch Watershed Project began in 1967 under sponsorship of the U. S. Atomic Energy Commission (now the U. S. Department of Energy). Initially, the project centered primarily on the geologic and hydrologic processes that control the amounts and chemistry of water moving through the watershed.
• Polish Academy of Sciences - Department of Marine Ecology
Department of Marine Ecology IO PAS consists of two parts: the chemical part - Marine Pollution Laboratory deals with the advanced methods of chemical analyses of the sea water and sediment. The ecological part (Arctic Ecology Group) of the deaprtment works on comparative field ecology. The climate - related patternsof biodiversity, communities and population structure are studied in Baltic, European Arctic Seas and recently in tropical areas.
• Rutgers University Marine Field Station
The major goal of The Rutgers University Marine Field Station (RUMFS), and the parent institution, the Rutgers University Institute of Marine and Coastal Sciences (IMCS), is to create a corridor for research, from the upper reaches of the Mullica River drainage basin, down through the Great Bay estuary, to the inner continental shelf, where a Long-Term Ecosystem Observatory (LEO-15) at 15 m depth has been established.
• Scripps Institution of Oceanography - Marine Biology Research Division (MBRD)
Marine research in cell and developmental biology, ecology and evolutionary biology, microbiology and physiology supported by aquarium facility and biological collections
• Sustainable Ecosystems Institute
SEI is a non-profit organization of scientists dedicated to finding cooperative, science-based solutions to ecological and environmental problems. Based in Portland, OR, the Institute works nationally and internationally to build consensus and improve the scientific underpinnings of environmental policy and practice. Currently, SEI focuses on marine conservation, sustainable forestry, and endangered species issues.
• The Horn Point Laboratory
The Horn Point Laboratory is part of the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science, a Maryland premiere higher education institute for environmental science and an international model for coastal studies.
• Tulane/Xavier Center for Bioenvironmental Research
The Tulane/Xavier Center for Bioenvironmental Research (CBR) represents a solidly established and well-developed collaboration between a major research university and one of the nation's leading historically black universities. Our mission is to prevent disease and enhance health in humans through partnerships in research and learning, providing solutions to environmental problems of the future.
