• Centre for the Study of Evolution - University of Sussex
The Centre for the Study of Evolution is a cross-disciplinary research group within the University of Sussex which aims to develop and utilize evolutionary ideas. Members include biologists, biochemists, mathematicians and computer scientists. The CSE builds upon the ethos and distinguished contributions of Professor John Maynard Smith, who founded the biology school at the University of Sussex in 1965.
• Nature Branching, Juan Armando Sanchez Web Page
This web site is devoted to the study of branching in nature, Ânature branching (e.g., phylogenetics), organisms containing branching networks particularly corals and coral reefs, and the tools to study different aspects of branching (e.g., molecular systematics and ecology). We think that the better we understand nature the better we will take care of it.
• The Talk.Origins Archive
The Talk.Origins Archive: Exploring the Creation/Evolution/Intelligent Design Controversy. The Talk.Origins Archive is a collection of articles and essays that explore the creationism/evolution controversy from a mainstream scientific perspective. In other words, the authors of most of the articles in this archive accept the prevailing scientific view that the earth is ancient, that there was no global flood, and that evolution is responsible for the earth's present biodiversity.
• Evolution & Diversite Biologique CNRS-UPS
Our laboratory was created on 1 January, 2003. It gathers researchers and university professors with complementary interests as varied as mathematical ecology, molecular evolution, the evolution of sustainable interactions, and the evolution of complex quantitative characters. Our research involves theoretical and molecular biology but also field work and experimental approaches.
• Nature's Holism
Nature's Holism is about evolution within ecosystems, coevolution and a holistic ecology, showing how species coevolve. Coevolution through natural selection leads to interdependence (ecotaoism).
• Trends in Ecology & Evolution
Every issue of Trends in Ecology & Evolution provides succinct summaries, opinion and discussion of the most exciting current research in all aspects of ecology and evolutionary biology, from molecular to global. Trends in Ecology & Evolution contains concise, lively and up-to-date reviews as well as a section for news and comment on the latest research developments and meetings, perspectives on wider issues, a correspondence section, and book, software and CD-ROM reviews.
• Evolutionary Ecology Research
A professional scientific journal focusing on the overlap between ecology and evolution. Table of Contents for most recent issues of Evolutionary Ecology Research.
• Society for the Study of Evolution
The objectives of the Society for the Study of Evolution, which was founded in March, 1946, are the promotion of the study of organic evolution and the integration of the various fields of science concerned with evolution. The Society endeavors to accomplish these objectives through the publication of the journal (International Journal of Organic Evolution) and through meetings and working committees.
• Understanding Evolution
Understanding Evolution is a non-commercial, education website, teaching the science and history of evolutionary biology. This site is here to help you understand what evolution is, how it works, how it factors into your life, how research in evolutionary biology is performed, and how ideas in this area have changed over time.
• Human Evolutionary Ecology Group
The Human Evolutionary Ecology Group, located in the Department of Anthropology at UCL, is the largest collection of researchers in the UK investigating human evolutionary ecology. We study human behaviour and life history as adaptations to local environments - which includes not only human behavioural ecology but also the related areas of reproductive ecology, evolutionary demography, evolutionary medicine and cultural evolution.
