  Laboratory for Radioecology, Nakaminato, Japan
Laboratory for Radioecology, located at Nakaminato, Ibaraki Prefecture, consists of two Divisions (Radioecology and Marine Radioecology) and an Administration Section. Since the establishment of NIRS, the environmental behavior of radionuclides has been one of the main subjects of study. A Division(Radioactive Contamination) at Chiba campus had responsibility for the environmental radioactivity study.

Radiation Physics and Radiocarbon Research Lab
The Radiation Physics and Radiocarbon Research Laboratory specialises in the measurement of minute traces of artificial and natural radionuclides in the environment. The laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for high resolution alpha spectrometry, low-level beta spectrometry, and high resolution gamma and x-ray spectrometry. Advanced radiochemical separation techniques for nuclides such as plutonium, uranium, thorium, americium, technetium, radiostrontium and radiocaesium have been developed. We also apply radiometric dating techniques for reconstructing environmental histories.

Radiocarbon and Low-Level Counting Section TSU
The Radiocarbon Section of I.Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University was established in 1958-1963 at Physics Faculty under the supervision of prof. M.Mirianashvili, prof. V.Kokochashvili and prof. A.Burchuladze. Since that time, the Laboratory staff has made considerable contribution in investigations of the problems of archeology, paleobotany, paleogeography, and geology in Georgia.

  Journal of Environmental Radioactivity
The Journal of Environmental Radioactivity provides a coherent international forum for publication of original research or review papers on any aspect of the occurrence of radioactivity in natural systems. Relevant subject areas range from applications of environmental radionuclides as mechanistic or timescale tracers of natural processes to assessments of the radioecological or radiological effects of ambient radioactivity.

  Radnet: Nuclear Information
Information about source points of anthropogenic radioactivity. Public safety consequences and radioecological impact of nuclear accidents and nuclear industries.

  Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute
AFRRI, a triservice laboratory chartered in 1961, conducts research in the field of radiobiology and related matters essential to the operational and medical support of the U.S. Department of Defense and the military services. The institute collaborates with other governmental facilities, academic institutions, and civilian laboratories in the United States and other countries. Its findings have broad military and civilian applications.

Centre for Ecology and Hydrology Radioecology
The radioanalytical laboratory at Merlewood has the capability to analyse a wide range of artificial and naturally occurring radionuclides in the environment. Our counting facilities include ten high-resolution gamma detectors, eight alpha detectors, and a high-sensitivity liquid scintillation counter suitable for both alpha and beta emitters. The laboratory has extensive experience in analysing environmental and biological materials for gamma-emitting radionuclides, transuranic elements and beta emitters.

  International Union of Radioecology
Radioecology is a scientific discipline that studies all aspects of the environmental impact of radioactive substances, from human radioprotection to ecological risk assessment, in relation to natural and man made pollution and waste.
