• Effects of Ozone on Grassland Plant Diversity
Swiss Federal Research Station for Agroecology and Agriculture - Air Pollution / Climate Research Group. Since 1985 our group examines the effects on vegetation of the air pollutant tropospheric ozone. The aim of our research is to: assess the ozone sensitivity of different crops and grassland species; investigate responses of grassland community to elevated ozone stress; establish and validate critical levels of ozone for crops and natural vegetation; contribute to the UN/ECE International Cooperative Programme on Effects of Air Pollution on Natural Vegetation and Crops.
• Northern Prairie Wildlife Research Center - Biological Resources
The Northern Prairie Wildlife Research Center is composed of the Headquarters at Jamestown, North Dakota; Field Stations in North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota; on- and off-site Library, Laboratory, Remote Sensing, GIS, Photo and Digital Imaging, Herbarium, and Experimental Pond facilities; and a study area located at Cottonwood Lake in North Dakota.

We includes both photos and text in order to make our homepage informative. We also develop an interactive game - Treasure Hunt, which arouse visitor's interest in these topics and explore our website.
• Images of the Dry Tropics
Dry tropical habitats are exciting places, rich in color and texture and full of strange organisms and surreal landscapes. This website is an attempt to share some of this excitement. The images on these pages aren't the only areas of tropical drylands. They are just from places I happen to have gone during my field work.

• California's Coastal Wetlands
Most of California's coastal wetlands are estuarine salt marshes with associated tidal channels and mudflats. Estuaries are formed where freshwater streams meet the sea, and contain variably brackish water. Salt marshes develop along the shores of protected estuarine bays and river mouths, as well as in more marine-dominated bays and lagoons. Wetlands that are less common along the California coast are freshwater marshes, riparian wetlands, bogs, and vernal pools.
• Irish Peatland Conservation Council
The Irish Peatland Conservation Council (IPCC) is a national organisation established in 1982 to conserve and protect a representative sample of Irish bogs. Its headquarters are located at the Bog of Allen Nature Centre, Lullymore, Rathangan, Co. Kildare. Conservation projects include: purchasing bogland nature reserves, providing resources and training for teachers and education groups, repairing damaged bogs, fostering a positive attitude towards bogs, and encouraging lifestyles in harmony with the environment.
• Peat Portal
The portal is using on-line community portal software designed for interactive communication among all members. It enables decentralized management of information by different partners and utilizes user friendly tools to enable anyone at country or organization level to upload information for sharing purposes through the portal. This portal is being developed for information dissemination and exchange among researcher, scientist and peatland related experts or stakeholders.
