• KHOEF - White Seabass Project (WSB)
King Harbor Ocean Enhancement Foundation (KHOEF) White Seabass Project (WSB). The King Harbor WBS program is part of the Ocean Resources Enhancement Hatchery Program (OREHP). Funding of OREHP is provided from the required Ocean Enhancement Stamp on all fishing licenses sold from Point Arguello to the Mexican border. OREHP is administered by the Dept. of Fish & Game and managed by an advisory panel of appointed citizens representing sport and commercial fishing interests, the academic community, the aquiculture industry and regulatory agencies.

The Department gives scientific advice on the sustainable exploitation of living marine resources, the protection of the marine environment, and the quality of fishery products.
• Lobster Conservation Reference Site
Provides information on the lobster fishery and lobster conservation with pictures, tables, and links to other lobster-related sites. This site now incorporates FisheryConservation.com.
• The Billfish Foundation
The Billfish Foundation is the only non-profit organization dedicated solely to conserving and enhancing billfish populations around the world. Our comprehensive network of members and supporters is made up of anglers, boat captains, tournament directors, clubs and sportfishing businesses. By coordinating efforts and speaking with one voice, we are able to work for solutions that are good for billfish and not punitive to anglers.
• Menhaden Resource Council
The Menhaden Resource Council is an educational and informational organization supported by the menhaden industry. The Atlantic menhaden fishery is probably America's oldest business. Over the years, the fishery grew from its use as an agricultural fertilizer to a source of oil for lamps and then to animal feed supplements. Today's market for menhaden products is diverse and growing. The oil pressed from menhaden, which is rich in heart healthy Omega 3 fatty acids, is a FDA approved health food additive.
• The Marine Fish Conservation Network
The Marine Fish Conservation Network (MFCN) is a coalition of over 150 national and regional environmental organizations, commercial and recreational fishing groups, aquariums, and marine science groups dedicated to conserving marine fish and to promoting their long-term sustainability.
• Pacific Fishery Management Council
The Pacific Fishery Management Council is one of eight regional fishery management councils established by the Magnuson Fishery Conservation and Management Act of 1976 for the purpose of managing fisheries 3-200 miles offshore of the United States of America coastline. The Pacific Council is responsible for fisheries off the coasts of California, Oregon, and Washington.
