  Remote Sensing and Ecology Lab
Remote Sensing and Ecology Lab at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology Institute of Atmospheric Sciences.

  Taiga Biological Station
Web Site about the Taiga Biological Station, University of Manitoba, effort of Dr. William O. Pruitt Jr. - Taiga Biological Station is dedicated to the study of the organisms of the taiga (the northern coniferous forest or "boreal forest") and their ecology. Taiga Biological Station is north of Wallace Lake, Manitoba at 51°02'40" N. Lat., 95°20'40" W. Long. It is 5 km from the road and access is by canoe, ski or snowmobile.

  Tulane/Xavier Center for Bioenvironmental Research
The Tulane/Xavier Center for Bioenvironmental Research (CBR) represents a solidly established and well-developed collaboration between a major research university and one of the nation's leading historically black universities. Our mission is to prevent disease and enhance health in humans through partnerships in research and learning, providing solutions to environmental problems of the future.

  South Florida Information Access
SOFIA is an interdisciplinary service that provides coherent information access in support of research, decision making, and resource management for the South Florida ecosystem restoration effort. Sponsored by the USGS Priority Ecosystems Science Initiative (PES, formerly the USGS Place-Based Studies Program (PBS)), SOFIA offers a suite of information systems and tools enabling the selection, organization, documentation, dissemination and storage of data and other information products.

The CRC for Australian Weed Management
Weeds CRC: Australian research into weed biology and ecology, risk assessment, biological control, herbicide resistance, crop & pasture management

University of Florida Center for Natural Resources
The School of Natural Resources & Environment supports the University of Floridas commitment to teaching, research, outreach and Extension programs in ecology, environment and environmental sciences. Faculties from eleven colleges and major academic units actively participate to educate students and provide research and outreach programs that advance solutions to ecological and environmental challenges at local, state, national and international levels.

Southern Research Station, US Forest Service
Southern Research Station - USDA Forest Service conducts research in forestry resource science and technology for forest sustainability and productivity in southern ecosystems and environmental quality.

  The Horn Point Laboratory
The Horn Point Laboratory is part of the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science, a Maryland premiere higher education institute for environmental science and an international model for coastal studies.

  Urban Ecology Research Project
The Urban Ecology Research Project is an empirical study of the impact of urban development patterns on ecological conditions in the Greater Seattle Area focusing on population and community dynamics of native and exotic biota. We are studying how patterns of urban development (urban form) alter ecological conditions (species composition) through physical changes (patch structure) on an urban to rural gradient in Greater Seattle.

Institute of Biology, Komi Scientific Center
Institute of Biology, Komi Scientific Center, Ural Division, Russian Academy of Sciences. Main theoretical and experimental research directions of the Institute are the following: Biological animal and plant diversity and ecology; Biocenological basis of productivity and stability of coniferous and deciduous forests; Structural, functional organization and anthropogenic transformation of tundra and taiga ecosystems; Combined effect of small doses of ionizing radiation and other physical and chemical factors on living organisms and natural ecosystems; Biologically active compounds in the natural flora and in the introduced plants.
