The Irish Blue Cross was established in 1945, and put its first mobile veterinary clinic onto the streets of Dublin in 1953. Since its foundation the charity has continued to develop the service whilst extending its support for needy cases through partnership with private veterinary practices. There are ten weekly mobile veterinary clinics in operation throughout Dublin. These are run by dedicated teams of volunteers and vets who serve the needs of 10,000 pets per annum. The work of the mobile clinics is supported by the main office, which handles an additional 8,000 calls for assistance from the general public.

We are an exclusively small animal practice situated in Limerick city. All types of companion animals are looked after; with dogs and cats being the mainstay of our practice. Our main focus is on dermatology and surgery.
