Heaven Can Wait Equine Rescue is located in Ontario, Canada. This Equine Rescue was started by Claire Malcolm in 1997 to help save horses and ponies from slaughter, and take in any unwanted horse or pony and find them a new, loving home. HCW has placed 400+ equines into new families in the past 7 years.

SWHP is run almost entirely by volunteers. We will care for abused or injured horses and ponies, rehabilitating them and re-homing them in a safe, caring environment. No horse or pony taken in by SWHP will ever be sold. We will rehome each horse or pony on a loan basis and monitor their progress through yearly visits.

Dedicated to educating horse owners, legislating the humane treatment of horses and finding homes for all abused or neglected equines. The Lost & Found Horse Rescue Foundation (L&FHRF) has successfully placed more than 500 horses, averaging 100 per year since 1997. We handle several horse breeds along with ponies, donkeys and mules for possible adoption.

• Angelwings Pony Rescue & Sanctuary
A Christian, family owned and operated ranch dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, care and training of unwanted and abused ponies. Here at Angelwings we rescue ponies from the auction where they are sold to meat buyers and shipped out of California to the slaughter house. We take donations and buy ponies from the auction as funds permit.

Set amongst the rolling Chiltern Hills The Home of Rest for Horses caters for the retirement needs of 125 horses, donkeys and ponies. The Home was originally established back in the 1880s to help the working London horses.
