We are a Parrot refuge for neglected and unwanted psittacines including parrots, macaws, cockatoos and various other exotic birds. We are a registered charitable organization and are supported thru the sale of parrot cages, parrot toys and donations from the concerned public. We also sell bird cages in custom shapes and sizes.

  Avian Welfare Coalition
The Avian Welfare Coalition (AWC) is a diverse grassroots network of representatives from bird adoption, rescue, and sanctuary groups, humane societies, animal advocacy organizations, published research biologists, shelter and research veterinarians, and attorneys and other animal law specialists dedicated to the ethical treatment and protection of birds living in captivity and in their natural habitats. The AWC works to heighten awareness and to facilitate cooperation in addressing the concerns of captive bird welfare on all fronts. Through this cooperation, the AWC works to prevent the abuse, exploitation, and suffering of captive birds, address the crucial issues of rescue, placement, and sanctuary for displaced birds, and support efforts to insure the survival of wild birds and the conservation of their natural habitats.

Fly Away Rescue (FAR) is a small independent bird rescue. Fly Away Rescue was founded in 1994 and is located in the San Francisco Bay Area (California). Since FAR is an outreach and placement program FAR offers the owner peace of mind that their bird will be well taken care of. FAR also places into protected custody abandoned, abused, mistreated, special needs birds, and birds in need of foster care.

We provide a permanent home for unwanted, abandoned, homeless birds, who for what ever reason have become to much for their owners. We provide a safe clean home, proper veterinary care, training and plenty of love and affection.

  Greyhaven Exotic Bird Sanctuary
Greyhaven is a registered non-profit society. We are located in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada and specialize in parrot rescue, refuge and adoptions. Greyhaven is run solely by volunteers. We have no paid staff. The purpose of Greyhaven is to: 1. Rescue, rehabilitate and care for injured, orphaned, abandoned, unwanted and abused or neglected exotic birds; 2. Run a successful adoption program; 3. Educate the general public in the care and keeping of exotic birds.

  Beaks and Noses Rescue (Birds & Dogs)
Beaks and Noses Is based in Billerica MA. We are not a shelter, but a rescue, which means all our birds and dogs are in a home environment. All our dogs are fully vetted including spay or neuter prior to adoption. We have an Avian Vet that comes to my home periodically to examine our parrots. We do charge a small donation for the animals which goes right back into their food, housing and vet bills. We also accept peoples pets, that they can no longer keep.
