HiHopes is a small rescue organization funded solely by our own efforts and your donations. HiHopes was founded in early 1999, often working in conjunction with local humane societies, our mission is to assist in the rehabilitation and retirement of neglected or abused horses. We are located in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains of New York State.

HPS provides a sanctuary of last resort for unwanted, neglected, and abused equine.

Horses for Love is an all volunteer, non-profit organization located in Santiago Canyon, California. Retired, neglected and unwanted horses are taken in with much love and care. We have combined our horses with a youth outreach program to teach proper horse care and horsemanship.

BHWHS is managed by Dayton O. Hyde's Institute of the Range and American Mustang (IRAM), a non-profit organization whose mission is to give freedom and a better quality life to America's wild horses. The Midwest Horse Welfare Foundation is dedicated to providing qualified homes for any horse in need. It is our goal to make certain that every horse placed in our care is provided with all the necessary ingredients for a safe and happy life, and that it is also protected from those who would do it harm.

The Nokota Horse Conservancy is a nonprofit organization established in 1999 to preserve the unique and historical Nokota Horse. These wild horses of the northern plains have inhabited the area encompassing Theodore Roosevelt National Park since at least the 1880's. The vast majority of the remaining Nokota horses currently survive on the overburdened Kuntz Ranch.

The Equine Rescue Association (ERA) operates a shelter for horses in Marysville, WA. It is a non-profit, charitable organization run by volunteers. All supplies, equipment, and feed are donated or paid for by donated funds. Funds are raised by educational programs such as riding lessons, publication sales, through community outreach efforts, and promotional events with local merchants.
