A Non-Profit Organization. For the past ten years, the Minnesota Hooved Animal Rescue Foundation (formerly the Minnesota Hooved Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation Station) in Zimmerman, Minnesota has been rescuing and restoring the health of horses and other animals in distress.

Founded in 1992. Provided a safe-haven, rehabilitation, transitional training, farrier, and vet care for over 1,000 retiring racehorses prior to adoption by qualified homes. Accredited by the Thoroughbred Adoption/Retirement Association. Endorsed by the National Thoroughbred Racing Association and the United States Trotting Association.

We are located in North Central Arkansas, at the foot of the Ozarks. We are dedicated to saving horses from starvation and abuse. We also try to buy horses from sales that would otherwise go to slaughter. And we will take in any unwanted horse if we can find a way to get it here. We also try to take in unwanted race horses in danger of being put down.

Equus Sanctuary is a subsidiary of DreamCatcher Wild Horse and Burro Sactuary, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and operates as an animal welfare organization serving the community in equine recovery, rehabilitation and technical rescue.

FOHRAA is a 501c3 nonprofit corporation dedicated to horse rescue, adoption and education based in metropolitan Denver, Colorado. We place many foals and horses in adoptive loving homes including PMU foals, retired thoroughbred racers, and a number of horses being auctioned for human consumption. In 2003, FOHRAA placed over 300 horses and foals in adoptive homes.

The Humane Organization Representing Suffering Equines (H.O.R.S.E.) of Connecticut, Inc., is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of abused and neglected horses. In addition to direct intervention, H.O.R.S.E. also maintains an on-going commitment to educating the public regarding horse care.

HorseNet Horse Rescue is a certified 501 (c)(3) nonprofit facility located in New Windsor, Maryland. We do not sell horses, but facilitate the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of those animals in our care. We do have some permanent residents, but strive to adopt out as many animals as possible to loving informed homes.
