We are located in North Central Arkansas, at the foot of the Ozarks. We are dedicated to saving horses from starvation and abuse. We also try to buy horses from sales that would otherwise go to slaughter. And we will take in any unwanted horse if we can find a way to get it here. We also try to take in unwanted race horses in danger of being put down.

In 2003, FOHRAA placed over 300 horses and foals in adoptive homes.
