Return to Freedom is home to The American Wild Horse Sanctuary, a non-profit animal sanctuary and educational retreat. We provide a safe haven for animals and offer educational programs that are based on direct contact and sensitive observation of the natural world.

Ryerss Farm for Aged Equines, located in Pottstown, PA, is dedicated to providing a place of peaceful retirement for aged and abused horses. Ryerss Welcomes Volunteers: Come see the farm. Meet our retirees in person! You are welcome to visit Ryerss, as groups or individually, and help out with farm chores and/or horse care.

Vision Statement: To ensure that all equines in the state of South Carolina live in a safe, healthy and nurturing environment. Mission: SCARE will assist in the investigation of equine abuse and/or neglect cases in South Carolina and will provide responsible foster/adoptive homes and quality rehabilitative care for equines in need.

The Sunshine State Horse Council has set up a web site that contains emergency preparation information, emergency resources, and a database of relocation sites - places that will provide space for horses displaced by fire or hurricane, on a temporary basis until the emergency subsides.

We are a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the rescue of abused and neglected horses within the State of New Mexico. Our home is near the town of Cerrillos, south of Santa Fe, where we have a round-the-clock caretaker and facilities for about twenty horses.

Hawaii's largest animal sanctuary, The Sylvester Foundation is a no-kill environment. A private and secure 20 acre ranch provides a peaceful,loving environment for the animals to roam. Caring for cats, dogs, horses, and other creatures including chickens, ducks, peacocks, turtles, and rabbits.

Tranquility Farm accepts the donation of Thoroughbred horses for retirement and retraining from the racetrack or breeding farm. Our goal is to give each horse their best opportunity to find an adoptive home, and for those in need of humane retirement, a comfortable life in the company of their fellows.

A 501(c)3 tax-exempt charity. USERL acquires horses from a variety of sources. In the beginning, the League accepted donations of equines. Now, having established a respectable reputation within the equine community, USERL shelters equines that have been seized by law enforcement authorities and those surrendered by neglectful and/or abusive owners.

Wild Horse Spirit is a hands-on, private, non-profit, Wild Horse Rescue, Advocacy Organization, & Sanctuary. We are dedicated to working with other organizations & people who have our same concerns & goals. We are non-paid, dependent upon donations, fund-raising activities, & receive no governmental funds. All donations are tax-deductible.

Our goal is to provide care, rehabilitation and relocation through adoption of unwanted, neglected, abandoned or abused horses. Mission: To maintain accurate records on the progress of the animal as well as a history regarding medical problems the animal may have had prior to coming to the Wyoming Horse Rescue.
