  American Veterinary Chiropractic Association
The American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA) was formed in 1989 by a group of veterinarians and chiropractors interested in furthering the profession of animal chiropractic. Today, the AVCA has a three-fold mission: to function as a professional membership group, to promote animal chiropractic to professionals and the public, and to act as the certifying agency for doctors who have undergone animal chiropractic training. One of the major goals of the AVCA is to provide the public with unhampered access to ethical doctors trained in animal chiropractic.

The AVCA membership only comprises Australian university qualified Veterinary Chiropractic practitioners, with degrees in Chiropractic, Osteopathy or Veterinary Medicine at least, followed by a Graduate Diploma in Animal Chiropractic, or Masters.   British Association of Homeopathic Veterinary Surgeons
The Association was formed in 1982, to advance the understanding, knowledge and practice of veterinary homeopathy. It aims to stimulate professional awareness of homeopathy and to encourage and provide for the training of veterinary surgeons in the practice of homeopathy. It is an open forum, for the various differing approaches to the subject of veterinary homeopathy and its application, allowing for constructive interchanges of ideas.
