  HorseHomeopathy: Emergency Horse Homeopathy Kit
Karen Cohen, D.C., CCH is a classically trained homeopath with 17 years of clinical experience treating humans and animals. The information in the kit and on the website is the result of extensive experience and research, including a detailed study of the writings of homeopathic veterinarians at the turn of the century, when most households depended daily on horses for work and transportation. The Horse Homeopathy Emergency Kit is designed to provide a safe and effective complementary approach to accidents, injuries and acute conditions commonly seen in horses. In addition, the kit includes Arnica 1M, the remedy shown to be most useful in alleviating rider injury, trauma and bruising after a fall.

  Magnetic Therapy
Information on Magnetic Therapy - Cherrydale Veterinary Clinic. Magnetic therapy has been in existence for over 3,000 years. It was first used by the Greeks and Egyptians who noticed they felt better when laying down on magnetized rocks after strenuous exercise or work. It increases energy, relaxes tense muscles, relieves musculoskeletal and other discomforts, reduces stress, and subtly accelerates the body's own natural healing process. It does this by improving circulation, breaking down scartissue, mobilizing calcium, and blocking the pain response.

  The Equine Touch UK
The Equine Touch has been described by equine veterinarians as "'the ultimate hands on modality for horses." Equine Touch is a non-diagnostic, non-invasive energy and muscle release discipline that works at a complete, holistic level; in other words it addresses the equine as a whole. The gentle non-invasive procedures re-educate the equine body to re-balance from a cellular level, encouraging the horse toward the ideal state of homeostasis, wherein any problem can be addressed on all levels.

  A Race Horse Herbal
This site is the precursor to my literary/scientific text, A Racehorse Herbal. This book will provide a comprehensive study of old timey training/racing methods and remedies as compared to the modern trends found in the horse industry of both the Standardbred and Thoroughbred. It will allow the race horseman to utilize and integrate common medicinal plants into his everyday regime of keeping his animals fit and racing. He will be able to identify and process ignored weeds into useful and unique remedies.

  Anipulation - Animal Complementary Therapy
Why use Complementary Therapies? Remaining relatively fit and mobile is good for everyone including animals. Body tissues including bones, muscles, tendons and ligaments adapt to exercise and mechanical loading, becoming stronger and more flexible, making them less vulnerable to injury. Physical exercise and mobility improves circulation of blood and therefore enhances delivery of nutrients and oxygen to all areas of the body through muscular activity. Movement also helps retain muscle tone, stimulate tissue healing and regeneration, remove waste toxins more efficiently and maintain the functional integrity of all body parts. However, trauma injuries, unhealthy diets, over-exertion, fatigue and stress all conspire to reduce mobility, which over the course of time can lead to premature tissue degeneration, as the body no-longer functions as efficiently as it did. Hence the term - 'Use it or lose it!'
