The School of Agriculture & Food Science is located at the Newforge Lane campus of the Agriculture & Food Science Centre close by the main Queen's University campus and Halls of Residence in South Belfast. Teaching within the School is provided by the departments of Agricultural and Environmental Science, Agricultural and Food Economics, Applied Plant Science, Biometrics, Food Science and Veterinary Science. The Centre is well served by bus routes with a night time Students Union bus service from the Agriculture & Food Science Library at Newforge Lane during term time. Facilities, in addition to those at Newforge Lane, include those at the Plant Testing Station at Crossnacreevy, Veterinary Science, Horticultural and Plant Breeding Station at Loughgall and the Agricultural Research Institute of Northern Ireland at Hillsborough.
