The Faculty of Agriculture follows the European pattern of a three-year general degree (Laurea) and a five-year specialistic degree (Laurea specialistica) in accordance to the reform recently introduced at the University of Pisa. Students can choose from a range of combinations of subjects, sometimes making their selections from more than one faculty. After graduating, students have the chance to go onto further academic study by attending either a Master or a PhD course, in accordance to Faculty regulation.
