Faculty of Agriculture and forestry promotes sustainable use of natural resources and human wellbeing through scientific research and teaching. Faculty consists of 9 departments, 18 disciplines and has over 3200 students, of which 600 are graduates. Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry is situated on Viikki campus, together with three other Faculties of University of Helsinki: Faculty of Bioscienses, Faculty of Pharmacy and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

FNAS School of Animal Biology, University of Western Australia. The School of Animal Biology was formed in 2002 from the amalgamation of the Departments of Zoology and Animal Science, from the former Faculties of Science and Agriculture. The school teaches both undergraduate students and postgraduates at Masters and Ph D level.

The School of Earth and Environmental Sciences has research and teaching roles on the Waite, Roseworthy and North Terrace Campuses of the University of Adelaide. The research interests within the School include ecology, systematics/biodiversity, ecophysiology, mineral, petroleum and environmental geoscience, solid earth geophysics, physico-chemistry and biology of soils, spatial information science, crop and pasture agronomy and land management.

The Agriculture & Animal Science Department delivers programs in Animal Technology, Industrial Skills, Equine Studies, Aquaculture, Natural Resources, Viticulture and Winemaking, Production Horticulture and Agriculture and operates two working farms , a sixty hectare Thoroughbred Stud and a 250 hectare broadacre farm , four vineyards and two wineries for the delivery of practical training, one being a sixty hectare Thoroughbred Stud and Vineyard, the other a 250 hectare broadacre farm.

Agricultural Science at the University of Tasmania gives students a broad background in basic sciences as well as specialised knowledge in agricultural disciplines. Students can study the 4 year Bachelor of Agricultural Science course or the 3 year Bachelor of Applied Science (Agriculture). Agricultural University of Hebei (AUH), founded in 1902, as one of the oldest higher educational institutions in China and the pioneer in Hebei educational sector of higher learning, now is one of the key universities of the province. AUH has been transformed into a cross-disciplinary university, with a characteristic of agronomy and forestry, covering the 7 fields of agriculture, industry, management, economics, law and literature and arts. Altogether there are 23 colleges in the university.

South China Agricultural University (SCAU) is a key institution for higher agricultural learning with many diverse disciplines. It is now under the leadership of the Guangdong Provincial Government. Located in the Tianhe District of Guangzhou City, the university occupies an area of approximately 420 hectares. The university now has 14 colleges and a Department of Physical Education and Research, forming a multi-level and multi-approach school system with full-time postgraduate education, undergraduate education, junior college education, and continuing education, which covers a wide variety of specialties in agriculture and other subjects.
