Elle est la seule unite d'enseignement et de recherche en medecine veterinaire au Quebec et la seule faculte de medecine veterinaire francophone en Amerique.

Created by an Act of Parliament in 1945, the Arctic Institute of North America is a non-profit membership organization and a multidisciplinary research institute of the University of Calgary. A major focus of the department is undergraduate and graduate teaching. Major disciplines include animal behavior and welfare, genetics, nutrition and biochemistry, and physiology. The major domestic species are covered - beef and dairy cattle, swine, sheep and poultry, as well as non-traditional species of livestock.

The Organic Agricultural College (Den Okologiske Landbrugsskole pa Kalo) provides an exiting education programme for those aspiring to become an organic farmer, and is particularly designed for young people from Europe. Organic Farmer is a two-year course focusing on both theoretical and practical experience, leaving the student with an ideal knowledge-base with which to implement an organic farming carreer.

The Waite Campus houses the Waite Agricultural Research Institute, which was established on the site in 1924 following a bequest of Urrbrae House and 300 acres from Mr Peter Waite to the University of Adelaide. The objective of the bequest was "to advance the cause of education and more especially to promote the teaching and study of Agriculture and Forestry and allied subjects".

Established in 1999 in response to public demand for professional training in animal naturopathy, therapy and healing. The college is possibly the first of its kind world-wide, specialising in naturopathic animal studies. ACNAM is primarily a college of distance education. Correspondence course provides graduates with a thorough, general understanding of the principles and practice of natural animal care and the use of natural methods, therapies and medicines in the care of common conditions.

The School of Marine Biology and Aquaculture together with the School of Tropical Biology forms the core biological teaching and research programs at James Cook University. The core business of the Marine Biology discipline is the development of teaching and research programs in the field of tropical marine habitats and their component species.

Earth is a private, international, non-profit university offering an education in agricultural sciences and natural resources in order to contribute to sustainable development in the humid tropics. The University was created in 1990. One hundred new students from Latin America, Spain, and Uganda enter its Licentiate program each year.
