The Pennsylvania Saddlebred Horse Association (PSHA) is a registered charter club of the American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA), so PSHA members enjoy a reduced membership fee with ASHA. PSHA is proud to have members in eight states (PA, NJ, MD, VA, OH, GA, NC and NY). PSHA members are eligible to compete for annual high point awards in 28 categories, plus a separate academy division.

Major founders of MAAK are Russian Association of Akhal-Teke breeding (AATK) and All Russian Institute of horse breeding (VNIIK). The Society was founded in 1949 with the first attempts being made as far back as 1935. The Saddle Horse Breeders' Society of South Africa has some 420 members, with more than 4 000 horses on record. We register about 650 transfers and 500 foals annually. South Africa has taken the lead world wide in having parentage verification by means of DNA as a prerequisite to the registration of foals. The Society also organises and presents the National Saddle Horse Championships.
